I love doing rope bondage and taking photos of my work. When it comes to the rope I use, I’m particular. It has to look good, hold a knot well and be comfortable on my skin. When I use rope for suspension, I like it to sort of flatten out, rather than staying firm and hard like a cable. I’ve tried different companies and I’ve been happy with most, but wasn’t completely thrilled.

The look of DreX Rope’s Jute is superb. A deep golden brown in color, the rope really pops in my photos. The twist is nice, tight and neat. It even shows up great in my pictures; uniform and predominate. With hemp, my main issue was how worn and shaggy it looked after just a few times using it. The rope from DreXor still looks great even though I’ve used it a lot more. Needless to say, I don’t use hemp rope any more. Honestly, jute is a much better choice for rope bondage. It looks so much nicer than hemp and holds up great. Not to mention, it’s only half the weight as hemp. That means, my rope bag is much lighter; thank goodness.
DreXor makes all of his rope by hand. With his rope run, he’s able to make a complete rigging kit in one run. This is great because the look of the rope is consistent in each piece. I’ve ordered 4 runs so far and only one looks slightly different from the others and I haven’t had a single bad spot. I was happy to find out that he also makes Neon Wand or Violet Wand reactive rope; who would have ever thought. The rope has a tensile type strand running within the twists that carries the wand’s current. After using it for breast bondage with our Neon Wand, I want more; lots more. The current seems to zap randomly along the rope, surprising you as you play. For S&M, I’m sure it’ll work great for your devious fun.
