~Neon Wand Safety~
Before playing with your Neon Wand, it’s important to consider some important safety issues.
Also, please remember that any time that you have a new partner, health and safety issues should always be addressed before you play.

Don’t plug in the Neon Wand when it’s in the On position.
To prevent breakage, push and pull the attachment straight in. Do not twist or screw since this will put undo stress on the electrode and possibly break it.
Make sure that the electrode is firmly in place before you turn on the wand. Arcing from a loose electrode can cause a serious burn or the electrode may fall and break.
Make sure the attachment is in good condition, check it for hairline cracks and ruff edges.
Always start on the lowest setting and never sharply increase the current, this may be painful for your lover. Instead, build slowly and learn your sub’s limits.
Unplug the wand before changing the probe.
Only use KinkLab probes with your wand.
Do not use with an extension cord.
Remove all jewelry and metal, including your watch and piercings, before you play.
Don’t use the wand on anyone who has heart disease, seizure disorder, nerve damage or who’s pregnant.
Do not use on someone who has any type of heart condition. Also, for general purposes don’t use near the heart.
Do not use if you or your lover have epilepsy, the flicking lights or strobe effect of the violet wand may trigger a seizure.
Do not use the wand if you have a pace maker, insulin pump, cochlear implant, breast augmentation, lap band, etc. Also, use caution with dentures, braces, retainers.
Do not use near the eyes. The eyes are full of conductive fluid and may cause permanent damage.
Do not use near body fluids or any other liquid. it will be conductive.
Do not use the wand within 12 inches of metal implants in a person; such as, joint replacements, screws, metal plates, etc.
Do not use the wand on areas with broken skin, sunburn, melanoma, etc.
Do not use the wand for more than 10 seconds at a time.
Be cautions when using near any flammable liquid. Such as, perfume, hair spray, hand cleans, alcohol, fragrance burner or fumes from any flammable liquids.
Do not use the wand on flammable fabrics; some will melt when exposed to the current. Such as, polyester, nylon or plastic clothing. Do not use on any clothing with metal threads.
Do not use the Neon Wand in conjunction with saran wrap mummification. Saran warp is plastic and can melt.
Do not use neat metal zippers, snaps or fasteners. Including the under wire of a brassier.
The current can arc between the wand and any metal surface. Watch out for things like low light fixtures, hanging chains or even metal draw handles or door knobs.
Don’t use the Neon Wand internally. There are other toys designed especially for insertion.
Do not play with electro stimulation if your judgment may be impaired by alcohol, drugs or even lack of sleep.
Always use verbal as well as non-verbal Safeword, this will guard against any unfortunate mistakes.
Clean with a cool damp wash cloth. Do not put them in the dishwasher, they will shatter. Also, hot tap water may break them. Remember, the probes are fragile.
