I’m always happy when reader’s reach out to us with questions. Recently, Hubby and I have gotten a lot of questions about our pegging play and I thought it would be nice to share a few of the more popular ones.
What is pegging?
A fairly new term, coined in 2001, it’s no wonder that not everyone is familiar with the term. Pegging is defined as a sexual act where a female uses a strap-on dildo with a male partner for anal sex.
If a strap-on is used between two women, is it called pegging?
No, the term was created especially for female to male anal play. Instead, using a strap-on between two women is simply called strap-on sex.
Do I need to buy special equipment for pegging?
The only thing needed to explore pegging is a harness, dildo and lube. The specificity as to what type and dildo you choose will depend on your preference. However, one thing to keep in mind is to start out small. Smaller dildo’s will ease the apprehensions of an anal virgin and help to ensure that your baby steps are positive experiences. When choosing a dildo, I highly recommend silicone since it’s nonporous and can be sterilized.
Is pegging really fun for woman?
Oh yes! Different women enjoy pegging for different reasons. A few include, the feeling of power or domination that comes with being the one doing the penetrating, joy over being able to give their partner anal pleasure, the naughty thrill of role reversal or the dirty factor of engaging in anal play. There are also women, like myself, who experience stimulation and pleasure from the act itself.
What’s fun about pegging for the man?
Just like women have G-spots, men have P-spots. Producing a similar feeling as G-spot stimulation, pegging stimulates the P-spot. However, not all men enjoy prostate stimulation. Men that enjoy pegging often report that it allows them to have mind blowing orgasms that are more intense than typical PIV (penis in vagina) sex. There are also men who enjoy the psychological aspect of submitting themselves and being penetrated by their mistress.
What if my dildo comes out dirty?
Having anal sex whether pegging or otherwise, doesn’t always equate to dirty dongs. For most people who have regular bowl movements, it’s highly unlikely that a mess will come out while you play. However for those who have concerns, cleaning the rectum two hours before you play with an anal syringe or douche should clean everything out.
As careful as you are, the time will most likely come when a bit of brown clings to the wrong places. When this happens, don’t make a big deal out of it. Believe me; your partner is as embarrassed as you are. Simply wipe it off with a towel or toy cleaning wipe. For us, we always keep a hand towel or damp wash cloth close at hand. Not only to clean up accidents, but also to wrap our anal toys after we’re through with them. It really helps cut down on cross contamination until I can wash them.
Hubby and I are thrilled each and every time that a reader reaches out to us for our advice or opinion. Keep your questions coming; we’re always eager to share. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll help you search out reliable resources to answer your questions.
Until next time,
Lori
Another great post Lori! Simple concise and informative. It will be much appreciated by your readers, I’m sure, that you present it so casual and never overwhelming, ill probably link to it from my own site.
Great post Lori. Of pegging is done with toys that are made from materials which are absorbent the insertable could/should be covered with a condom, which also aids in the clean-up stage of play.
The only other piece of advice I was given “Lube, you can never have our use to much of it. When you think you have enough, put more on.
