I was thrilled to add to our collection when the gang over at Tantus asked us to try out their new Vibrating Velvet Harness. Designed a bit differently than other harnesses on the market, I was eager to give it a whirl.

Marketed for beginners the Tantus Vibrating Velvet Harness is comfortable and easy to use. However, don’t let the term ‘Beginners Harness’ fool you. As a pegging queen, this harness has quickly become one my very favorite.

Created to fit similar to a rock climbing harness, the dual straps go around your upper thighs rather than up your butt cheeks. This is the first harness designed in this fashion that we’ve tried and I must say; I love it! It feels freer and there’s no stretching to adjust the back straps so the dong holds tight in place. The straps also hold the dong in a more natural position and tighter against my body than other harnesses I’ve tried.  Not to mention, Hubby tells me that I look sexy in my new harness as he loves being able to slap my bum without pesky straps being in the way.

Getting in and out of this harness is much easier than the other styles I own. Just step into it similar to underwear and cinch the straps and you’re ready to go. I’ve noticed that I don’t have to readjust the leg straps each time we play, since I don’t have to loosen them too slip the harness off. Also, slipping it on and getting my dong situated seems to be a lot smoother and quicker using this harness. With less distraction while we play, things flow more natural and the moment is more intense.

The front panel is made from soft velvet and has a pouch sewn into it for a bullet vibrator. The panel is petite and minimal when you wear it. With easy access to your lady bits, it doesn’t get in the way of your fun.  Tantus knew just what they were doing by including a small pouch to hold a bullet vibe. This little pouch makes it easy for you to feel enjoyment along with your lover while you play. Centered perfectly, the bullet sits right where you want it, tight and secure against your body, allowing you to feel the full power of the bullet. I love this aspect. I often fiddle around trying to get a vibe in just the right spot and then to stay there. Now, with Tatntus’ little pouch, it stays perfectly in place. Easy to slip into the pouch after you turn it on, Hubby doesn’t even notice. That is, until he feels the vibrations traveling up my dong.

Designed with snaps on the o-ring straps, you can use any size dong by just changing out the o-ring. You can even remove the velvet panel for a more minimal look and feel.

Made from nylon strap, this harness is completely vegan and simple to clean. I never realized the difference this would make. In the past all of my harnesses have been made from leather. After we play, I take the time to clean any lube or fluids off the straps to keep the leather looking good. Although, I never minded it, I now realize how much of a chore that I was. With the nylon straps I don’t have to worry about spots or stains from lube, I can simply remove the panel and pop the straps into the washer. I prefer to wash the velvet by hand. Hang to dry and the harness is ready when I am.

I normally don’t talk much about product packaging. However, when I received my Tantus package, I couldn’t help but smile big at their branding. The outer side of the box has a lovely picture of a couple back packing and hiking on to a mountain peak. On the inside, is the same image except this time their back packs are strap-on harnesses. It’s simply ingenious and too cute.
